WHO THE PROGRAM ADDRESSES
The open call is addressed to practitioners interested in examining the philosophical premises and consequences of music management and leadership. Relevant roles may include artistic and executive directors, producers, curators, administrators, project managers, ensemble or festival founders, agents, publishers, label and platform staff, educators, cultural entrepreneurs, policy practitioners, and independent organisers. This range is indicative rather than exhaustive.
Projects may begin from an organisational challenge, programme, festival, governance question, leadership transition, policy, audience relationship, funding model, technological system, ethical dilemma, or broader professional research trajectory. Applications may arise from institutions, emerging initiatives, collectives, or independent practice. Participants should be prepared to present work in progress, engage closely with others, revise their positions through discussion, and contribute actively to collective research.
The programme requires neither a complete philosophy of management nor formal academic training in philosophy. It establishes conditions in which positions can be articulated, tested, differentiated, and developed through practice. Professional experience, intellectual curiosity, critical openness, and commitment to sustained exchange are therefore as important as the state or scale of any project.
